Georgette Heyer
Sample Autograph Signature:
Georgette Heyer
British historical, romance and detective fiction novelist. Born on August, in Wimbledon, London, Georgette Heyer's first book, The Black Moth, written to amuse her brother Boris during an illness, was published in 21 when she was only nineteen years old. She died in and her last book, My Lord John, was published posthumously. Between these two titles this wonderfully prolific author wrote over books: Historical Fiction, Regency Fiction, Historical Romantic Suspense, Contemporary Fiction and Mysteries. Although she created the Regency Romance genre, and she is certainly best known for her Regency fiction, she also wrote books set during the Restoration, Medieval, Georgian and the France of Louis XV, along with three biographies. An Infamous Army, set in and around the battle of Waterloo with an extensive bibliography for further reading, was so well researched and vividly written that it has been used as a school text-book.
Please note that while we have reason to be confident that the signature
is genuine by virtue of its source, it has not undergone
any expert examination or verification. Accordingly, TomFolio does not
guarantee the authenticity, nor can a comparison of a signature with
this example exclude the possibility of an autopen, a printed
facsimile, or a reasonably capable forgery.
We do not have anyone who can authenticate nor value signatures.
