The following Terms of Sale apply to all items purchased from us:

Our Purchaser

As used in these Terms of Sale, the term "our purchaser" means the person or entity named in the shipping address portion of our Invoice for the sale of the applicable item.

Limited Warranty

In addition to our 10-day return policy as described below, we warrant to our purchaser, for a period of one year from purchase, that the items purchased from us are complete and authentic (including absence of restoration and authenticity of signatures and inscriptions) except as disclosed in our written description of the item. If our purchaser returns such an item to us which does not conform with this warranty, in undamaged condition within one year after the date of purchase from us, we will repurchase the item from our purchaser for the full amount paid to us. We disclaim all other warranties, express or implied.

Collection of Information for Orders

Information provided to us by or on behalf of our purchaser in connection with an order is subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy, as stated on our Privacy Policy Page at www.bibliotreks.com/privacy.html.

Priority of Orders

All items offered by us are subject to prior sale, and we honor orders in the priority received by us.

Payment

We accept payment by check, money order or wire transfer in U.S. dollars payable to "Bibliotreks," or by credit cards. However, we reserve the right to confirm the identity and address of our purchaser prior to shipping credit card orders. Unless other arrangements are agreed to in advance, we ship upon receipt of payment and we will hold a book for a reasonable time pending receipt of payment if our purchaser has indicated an intention to purchase it. However, if our purchaser is a library or similar institution, we will ship a book prior to payment if we receive a purchase order and terms are agreed to in advance.

Shipping and Shipping Costs

Our prices are net and do not include the costs of shipping, insurance or Maryland sales tax, which we add based on the means of shipping and the shipping address. We ship all orders within the contiguous United States at cost by UPS ground delivery, and insure the items shipped in the amount of the purchase price. For orders shipped within Maryland, we add 5% sales tax. We ship all orders outside the contiguous United States at cost by delivery services which are trackable and insurable in the amount of the purchase price. Prior to receipt of payment, we will contact the person to be billed for the order to confirm the order and to discuss shipping options and costs with them.

Returns

Any item purchased from us may be returned by our purchaser for any reason in undamaged condition within 10 days after receipt by our purchaser, and upon our receipt of such returned item we will promptly refund to our purchaser all amounts paid to us for the item (including shipping costs). All sales are final as of the 11th day after receipt of the purchased item by our purchaser, except as stated in the Limited Warranty paragraph above. We insure all items while in transit, but we cannot be responsible for damage or deterioration to any item purchased from us after it is delivered to our purchaser.
