Only a small part of our inventory is listed online. This engine (in the left column) searches only our Concord location, and not our other location, which has its own rare-book listing website provided by TomFolio. One-quarter of our stock is new books that are deeply discounted from the cover price, anywhere from 10 to 50%. We are open seven days a week, with large paperback and children's sections. Directions to our Concord Location: In Concord, from Interstate 680, take Willow Pass Road exit and head east. Just after crossing Market Street, and at the next light, turn left into the shopping center "Park & Shop", where we are located. We are just a few doors east of a local landmark in the center, the old Capri Theater, now closed, but its marquee is still there. Bay Books is a member of the American Booksellers Association, and of the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association.

SHIPPING WITHIN UNITED STATES: USPS Priority Mail: $9.95 for standard-format single books less than 9" tall, anything larger (or multiple books) at cost plus handling. Sets, very heavy volumes & items priced at $100.00 or more will be subject to additional charges, especially for insurance. If we cannot ship for no more than 25% more than the estimated amount provided by TomFolio's shopping process, we will obtain your permission first. WE DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES; PLEASE DO NOT ASK, ORDER OR INQUIRE. Our shipments are all by U. S. Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation feature. Buyer agrees that an online statement by the Postal Service that the shipment has been delivered shall be conclusive proof of delivery, with buyer assuming all risk of subsequent loss or theft. There shall be no refund on account of non-delivery after said statement by the Postal Service. RETURNS: Full refund, if book(s) not as described, on prompt return in as-shipped condition. Returns must be pre-authorized by us, and the outside of the package must bear the Return Material Authorization (RMA) number we assign, else the shipment will be refused.
